LIMSN
Long Island Musicians Support Network

The LIMSN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group comprised of Long Island musicians representing a broad spectrum of genres who are pooling our talents and organizational skills. We have several ambitious goals.

Producing and marketing quality performances featuring local talent from novices through name acts - in settings that will allow us to reach a wide range of ages and communities across and beyond Long Island Contributing to the well-being of Long Island through participation in community events and presentation of performances to benefit charities. Helping to develop young talent on Long Island through the sponsorship and production of workshops and creation of supportive performance opportunities for them.

In its inaugural year, the LIMSN has presented concerts at the Bellmore Movie Theatre and in such outdoor venues as Phelps Lane Park, Venetian Shores Park, and Forest City Park.

LIMSN artists have given generously of their time for causes such as the Prune Belly Foundation, World Peace Day concerts, The Red Cross, The American Cancer society and Tsunami relief events. And we’re starting to get attention: Rafer Guzman of Newsday has cited us as “an organization with the potential to make a positive impact”

All of the artists of the LIMSN demonstrate a willingness and enthusiasm for giving generously of their time, energies, and skills to see our goals realized. We also need support from the community, government and local business’s. We hope that the LIMSN can count on your support as we strive to help Long Island to realize its potential as a thriving center of local talent, and to help Long Island’s musicians to serve their communities.
